A young Jane Fonda plays vapidly innocent intergalactic agent of peace Barbarella, who is overcome and captured by a gang of feral twins, that subject her to a cruel game involving mechanical dolls with razor sharp teeth.
After getting knocked out with a snowball with a crystal inside, she is bound with rope and taken to the kids' hideout, inside a derelict spaceship. There, she is tied to some pipes and the dolls are arranged and activated. Jaws snapping, the nasty little things let out a sharp scream of pain as they inch closer and closer. A Catchman and his two golem-like servitors rescue her just in time.
*Very strange 70's sort of movie, where sex was free and without consequence and often viewed with a weird sort of amusement. I never suspected the now venerable and respected actress Jane Fonda was ever this hot looking nor that she was ever in a film like this. the movie is often weird for the sake of being weird it seems, but overall it's a classic enjoyable space opera.*
