Hostel Part 2 was a miserable movie *spoiler*

I should have known we were in trouble when I saw how sparsely populated the theatre was. Despite what critics say to comfort themselves, sometimes a smidgen of brain emerges from the viewing audience, and we actually can smell a polished turd of a movie from a mile away and avoid it. In spite of the somewhat damsel in distress scenes in the movie, it was just another voyage into nauseating voyeuristic torture porn, where slow cruel death is the only ending. The true spirit of the DID genre is the hope of escape and rescue, the cliffhanger ending before the hero dashes in to save the day. None such existed here. The fact that one of the lead scum in the movie was named Sasha earned me a few carefully jibed elbows, but little humor could be found here.

So in the world of this film, the idle rich have nothing better to do than to pay for the privilege of murdering someone. Sickening. And apparently the murder for pay business has more employees than Disney World. Stupid. People get paid to write direct and film this crap. Even the fact that the girl who led the others to their fate gets he head cut off wasn't enough bleach to erase the utter sick visual depravity of this movie. No balance was achieved between right and wrong just another non-ending to open for a third movie which I hope is never made.

Just read the film cleared only 6.7 million over the weekend to finish in sixth place. So there is some justice in the world.
