A computer designed to help run Pop's restaurant more efficiently develops a HAL9000 complex and decides the best way to increase efficiency is to get rid of the pesky humans- starting with Betty, Veronica and their companion Delton. After Delton attempts to shut the system down, it reboots and makes fake some fake phone calls to lure the girls to the shop, where they are bound and gagged with duct tape, stuffed into a roller-coaster like seating arrangement and depositied into a huge trash compactor. Pops and Archie show up to rescue their friends, the former by causing as much mess and havoc as possible to distract the computer, while the latter Archie yanks a control chip.
