The infamous plant villain 'El Seed' kidnaps Professor Ichibana so he can possess the 400 Year bloom. She is held at his lair, bound with vines to a chair and gagged by a broad leaf until the villain tires of her resistance and decides to feed her to a huge animated Venus flytrap. Fortunately that thick-skulled mutant hero The Tick and his partner American Maid burst in to save her before the plant can finish her off.
