In this rather black comedy, the Kobayashi family finally get the chance to move out of their tiny, cramped Tokyo apartment in favor of the suburban house of their dreams. But all is not well: the house is crawling with termites and the vapors from the chemicals being used to kill them have driven the family into a violently paranoid obsessive frenzy!
Youki Kudoh plays the daughter Erika Kobayashi, who gets bound and gagged in her little purple girl-wrestling unitard by her elderly grandfather who is having a flashback to his days as a Japanese officer, complete with Samurai sword.
