Make no mistake, this is probably one of THE WORST science fiction movies ever made, but it's not without it's hokey, cheesy charm. After single-handedly annihilating almost the entire human race, the RO-MAN discovers a single family remains, somehow made immune to his death rays due to some super-antibody the father had invented. RO-MAN is immediately drawn to the family's nubile twenty-something daughter Alice (played by Claudia Barrett) (isn't that always the way) and offers not to destroy them if she will meet with him. After delivering rousing melodramatic speech, the girl is prevented from meeting with the monster by her family when they tie her up with a bunch of wire. Later, Alice and her love interest are attacked by the RO-MAN, and she is carried off to his lair He tries to rip her top off, then knocks her out with one punch when his communicator screen goes off
*I feel for the guy stuck in that RO-MAN costume because it looks like this movie was filmed in some hot, California wilderness area.*
Favorite lines from the movie-
Little boy to Robot Monster: "You look like a pooped out pinwheel."
RO-MAN to himself: "At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot!"
Roy the love interest to Alice:"I'm bossy? You're so bossy you oughta be milked before you come home at night! "
