Adrienne Barbeau portrays reporter Alice Cable who is captured by the imminently egomaniacal scientist Dr. Anton Arcane who is seeking a chemical formula that can transform living creatures, believing it can turn him into a god. First, she is his guest of honor at a banquet in honor of his minion Bruno (albeit tied to a chair, but sporting hella cleavage) and then chained up in the the good doctor's dungeon.
I remember catching this on TBS as a kid and being emotionally traumatized by Bruno's transformation after Arcane slips him the formula. Even watching it now after some years it makes my skin crawl, so props to that stuntman/actor for his performance. On the reverse side, Arcane's change into the monster looks like it hurt like hell, but he's the bad guy and he deserves it.
