In this Hong Kong action comedy, an undercover cop tries to protect a rich girl (played by Ceci Tse) from kidnappers, near as I can guess anyway. First, he gets into a mock fight with her over a sharp metal compass, which winds up stuck in his leg. She winds up tied to a chair with a red candle on top of her head (don't ask.) Later real kidnappers show up and tie up the cop's partner with the girl's teacher (played by King-Tan Yuen) and hustle the girl away bound and gagged. the cop stops them and even dodges bullets Matrix style. The girl is again hustled away to end up in a science lab, tied to chair, gagged with the room filling with butane gas from the Bunsen burners.
