Barbra Hale plays Martha Gregory whose home has just been visited by the man suspected of betraying her husband while in a WW2 prison camp, resulting in his death. He finds her on the phone, overpowers her, knocks her out then ties her up with table linens.
*Classic film noir at its best- a really good movie. A nice couple of scenes overall; hand-gag, knock-out and carry fans should like this sequence. Barbra's a feisty damsel in the initial struggle, which I appreciate as well.*
