Reiko Ohara portrays Kiyo, the wife of a dangerously jealous Ronin ( a masterless Samurai) who has it in for the blind swordsman. After challenging Zatoichi to a phony game of dice surrounded by his Yakuza henchmen, she is marched in bandit gagged and held at sword-point and thus forced to witness the cruel trap and unable to warn Zatoichi.
*This is a long clip, a little over 7 minutes, beginning from where she is brought in and where the gag is finally removed. Like I said she's gagged, but never shown bound.*
