In this bit from a rather convoluted episode of the cartoon series, shape-shifting mutant Mystique has taken on the form of notoriously anti-mutant Senator Kelly's secretary, leaving the poor woman bound, gagged and blindfolded in his office. Once the senator is 'safe' inside the office, he discovers the truth and Mystique takes on the form of Gambit to assassinate him and set off a human/mutant war. Rogue, the real Gambit, and time-travelling super-being Bishop intervene however.
