At the frozen ruins of an ancient amusement park inhabited by a peaceful tribe, a vampire-like alien that wraps it prey in cocoons has been picking people off one by one. While searching for the beast, a woman who has been guiding Ariel and the others is taken, and during the battle to try and recover her, Ariel and her companions are all nearly captured as well. Later the alien ambushes the companions and Ariel herself is captured so Thundarr and Ookla go in hot pursuit.
