In this pair of episodes, the Joker takes up modern art as his latest passion (and a convenient excuse for his next series of crimes) encouraged by the insanely wealthy but hopelessly naive socialite Baby Jane Towser (played by Diana Ivarson.) The Joker opens an art class for millionaires only and decides to hold the entire class for ransom including his erstwhile booster Baby Jane, in exchange for their collective Renaissance artworks. Batman and Robin see to it that plan falls through but with Baby Jane's help the Joker escapes justice, only to hold her prisoner while he and his thugs empty the Gotham Art Museum of its entire collection. The artwork turns out to be childish paintings made the Alfred the Butler, so in a fury The Joker takes his hostage to Wayne Manor for some 'quick cash', only to lose a fire poker duel with Alfred.
