In this clip from the UK kids series hosted by William Shatner, a girl from the future with telepathic abilities emerges in the modern day after a particularly fierce electrical storm (Jem, played by Antonia Prebble) and is kidnapped by a crooked CPA and his girlfriend, who also steal the focusing device (a necklace) that helps the girl use her powers properly. Fortunately, some kids who befriended her figure out where she's being held (thanks to a prescient dream) and dash off to rescue her. They find her at his office, tied to a chair, cleave gagged and locked in a closet.
