Jessica Stroup portrays Elizabeth Mitchum in this thriller. When a freak car accident leaves Elizabeth injured at the doorstep of her boyfriend's old high school girlfriend, the girl accepts her help not realizing Shelby has never let go of her old high school sweetheart and that she has dire plans for the new girl in his life. After a failed escape attempt, Elizabeth is knocked unconscious and wakes ups bound hand and foot with duct tape as Shelby sharpens a small pair of garden shears for gruesome purpose.
Later, she wakes up gagged as well (mouth stuffed under an OTM gag) when the local Sheriff happens to stop by to see if Shelby needs a lift to a special school ceremony to retire the old boyfriend's basketball jersey. Meanwhile, Elizabeth strains and struggles across the floor to reach a fusebox to alert him to her plight. The electricity goes out and he goes to fix the problem with Shelby behind him. He finds Elizabeth tied up and Shelby kills him. Elizabeth watches Shelby dispose of the body. Later, the boyfriend finally puts 2 and 2 together thanks to a gifted dress coat (given to him by Shelby, but with Elizabeth's initials embroidered on the sleeve) and arrives to save the day getting shot in the leg in the process. After a struggle, he carries Elizabeth upstairs with pyscho Shelby not far behind...
