Virginia Lindley plays spunky reporter Joyce Winters, who gets caught up literally in the next step of the Widow's scheme to claim the atomic rockets for her father and their homeland. Eavesdropping at the loading dock at the airport where the rocket motors are being loaded onto a plane Joyce is grabbed, hand-gagged and wrestled bound and gagged into a trunk which is loaded on the same waiting plane. In the air, the Widow's thugs emerge from a shipping crate and take the plane by force. But the plane is too heavy to clear the mountain ridge to get to the Widow's hidden airstrip so they decide the start dumping the excess cargo. A fight breaks out and the pilot gets conked on the noggin when he tries to go for the gun mounted beside him (not shown) which makes the plane pitch wildly. As Steve and henchman struggle, the trunk containing Joyce slides dangerously toward the open cargo door. Joyce meanwhile has woken up and begins to pound frantically on the inside of the lid. A black trunk slips over the edge and plummets to earth !!
