In this zany comedy about the Number 1 Chinese detective being brought out of retirement to solve a string of bizarre murders, Michelle Pfeiffer plays Cordelia Farenington who along with her fiance are captured on their wedding day. After being chloroformed, they awaken to find themselves tied, gagged and bound to a post, staring down a ferocious dog whose leash rope is fed through a guillotine, the trigger rope of which is buried in a burning candle. After removing their gags, they hatch a goofy plan to escape their demise.
*I've been looking high and low for this movie for weeks, finally it turns up on Veoh. Cute movie. Michelle makes a fine damsel in distress. Pity she didn't stay gagged longer.*
