Sarah Michelle Gellar plays Daphne Blake in this opening sequence where Daphne is in the clutches of the Luna Ghost, her hands bound with jump-rope as he bounds through a toy factory. However Velma (played by Linda Cardellini) and other members of Mystery INC. are lying in wait to capture the ghost with another goofy Rube Goldberg style trap. But things go hilariously awry and Velma winds up hanging upside-down by one ankle from an overhead chain and Daphne gets buried under a heap of plastic doll containers.
*An okay movie, Matthew Lillard is the only actor to really bring his character to life. It annoyed me that Sarah got to play Daphne, when she's still thought of as Buffy, especially when they had a perfectly serviceable REAL redhead in the cast in the form of Isla Fisher to play the part. The less said about Freddy Prinze Jr. with blond hair- the better.*
