Jean Arthur plays rough-n-tough frontier woman Phoebe Titus in this classic Western film. As Phoebe retires on a rainy night, she little suspects some of the locals are conspiring to loot her safe of the 15 grand she's just socked away. Dressed as Mexican bandits, the group grab Phoebe and gag her before she can utter a peep and then tie her to the bed with yards of rope before blowing the safe. An alert soldier on duty hears the explosion and runs to help.
