












































In this psychological thriller, Laila Robins portrays Frances Hannon, the wife of a rich man who is approached on the street as she is walking her dog, by an affable young man who after some casual chit-chat about pets presents her with a gun and directs her to get in the waiting car. Frances is dumbfounded and he lashes out in a rage. Frances is driven away screaming. In the woods, Frances kneels bound as the other kidnapper prepares the grave where she'll be buried alive in just her bra and panties. She begs not to be buried alive, but her pleas fall on deaf ears. Finally the other man take pity on her and gives her a flashlight before closing the coffin and sealing her in the ground.
Later, Maura Tierney plays Detective Madelaine Foster who after a series of unsuccesful interrogations to get the man to reveal the laoction of the kidnapped woman, comes to the grim realization that she, and the entire police department have been played so he can get her alone. She looks down and sees he has slipped his ankle cuffs moments before he attacks and chokes her unconscious. Madelaine awakes kneeling beside a tree, gagged with duct tape, her hands tied up over her head in front of her. the kidnapper reveals the final step in his grim plan which is to bury her alive next to the dead woman in the same coffin and disappear without a trace. He opens the lid- but he's in for a hell of a surprise.
