Linda Hamilton returns as Sarah Connor in this action-packed sequel. Things have gone badly for the mother of the future human resistance; she 's been locked up in a mental institution and seperated from her son John, who is being stalked by the advanced shape-changing liquid metal T-1000. Later in the film, she sits handcuffed while being interrogated by the police about the apparent re-emergence of a notorious cop killer from the 80's (actually the original Terminator, that has now been re-programmed to help them), but Sarah sits in a catatonic stupor unresponsive, and surreptitiously steals a large paper clip. Sarah is taken back to her room and strapped in bed for the night, but the creepy guard is unconvinced she's catatonic and closes in.... and licks her cheek slowly. With a grunt, he shoves the bed aside and leaves, locking the door behind him. Sarah waits a few beats, then spits out the paper clip and begins her escape.
