Sarah Roemer plays Leila in this convoluted X-Files Meets 24 TV series about human-looking aliens and high tech conspiracies. Aboard a cruise ship, Leila is confronted and cornered by two fake crew members. She's hand-gagged and given an injection in her neck, knocking her unconscious. In Episode 3, Leila is stashed in the back of a van bound with zip cuffs and gagged with duct tape. A cop pulls the van over, and the driver is questioned at length to the point where the suspicious cop wants to have a look in the back of the van. the kidnapper tries bribery of all things, but he's not moved and now even more serious about seeing the inside of that van, so the kidnapper shoots him dead and tosses his body in the van with Leila. Driven to a cargo holding area, Leila is removed from the van, put in a cargo container, un-gagged and cut loose. She gets one good shot in before she's left behind, apparently to languish and starve to death inside. But it's decided Leila is still valuable as her boyfriend is looking for her and being more than a pain in the ass for the baddies and she's retrieved again.
