Gorgeous Ava Gardner plays Victoria Jones who toward the climax of the film is held captive in the boxcar of a train by an Indian terrorist with plans to blow up the tracks. When soldiers stop the train to search it, he keeps her under control by pulling a knotted cloth tightly against her throat, threatening to strangle her if she moves or cries out.
