Meg Foster plays Ali Tanner in this thriller about a spy seeking revenge for the murder of his wife. Toward the climax of the film, she and her son are kidnapped by the man to force her husband, a news anchorman of considerable influence, to expose the people responsible for the woman's death. He agrees, but uses some video trickery to buy himself time to find oth the spy as well as his captive family. Ali, the boy and the family dog (???) are found gagged and bound inside a steel cargo container.
