In the opening moments of this episode as Danny's clueless Dad blathers on about ghost-hunting, Sam and Tucker are snatched up by the tentacles of two octopus-like ghosts that emerge from the portal. Danny gives the monsters an off-screen beatdown as the man talks and the kids are saved.
