Ellen Bry plays snoopy reporter Julie Masters who finds herself in danger after unwittingly taking an incriminating picture of a man involved in some government dirty work. After she and Peter piece things together, Julie is hand-gagged and kidnapped while Peter is slugged over the head and left unconscious at her apartment. Julie is later seen gagged and tied in a chair in an office in the Empire State building as the baddies ready to leave town and get rid of their troublesome witness, but Spiderman has planted a bug on one of the henchmen newly released from jail and followed him to the location. he climbs in through a window and proceeds to kick a butt or two before rescuing Julie.
