Joan Crawford plays Sally Parker in this classic romantic comedy adventure about a runaway bride and an undercover reporter who get caught up in political intrigue in France. In this clip, Sally and two French police officers have been captured by the Baroness Hilda Spannerman (played by Mona Barrie) and her henchmen and taken to an isolated chateau, where Micheal her love is already gagged and tied to a chair. Sally is tied up on the love seat and the cops tied together back to back while the baroness keeps her gun aimed. However Micheal has been hiding out behind a curtain and jumps the Baroness after her thugs have left, hand-gagging her and she winds up tied up on the couch instead.
