In this lengthy clip from the Showtime TV series, Fairuza Balk plays Stacia, who finds herself unwittingly the center of a turf war between serial killers, one who acts as a trucker, the other a hitch-hiker. Stacia accepts a ride from the trucker mostly to escape the attentions of the other guy, but during the ride the trucker goes on a long rambling speech about hunters and prey, which he claims can be explained if Stacia will reach into the glove compartment. Stacia is distracted by this and so the trucker reaches up behind her and slams her head repeatedly into the dashboard, knocking her unconscious. Stacia wakes up handcuffed and securely buckled into her seat as the trucker continues his rambling and pulls off one of her ear rings as a trophy (ouch!) Later, they pick up the other killer and they try to settle their differences peaceably, but Stacia goads them into trying to kill each other instead of her and guns are drawn. Stacia stomps on the brakes and the guys are catapulted through the windshield, but recover well enough to beat the crap out of each other. Stacia struggles for one of the guns to no avail. An ambulance arrives as the boys lay slumped on the road--- unfortunately its the roving base for another pair of killers who finish off the trucker and hitch-hiker (not shown) and Stacia is revealed strapped down and massively gagged with medical tape to be "saved for later" as the ambulance disappears into the fog....
