Martha Smith plays Francine Desmond whose new boyfriend is working with unfriendly agents and has been drugging her in her sleep with some sort of hypnotic to pump her for information. toward the end of the episode, Mr. Brody decides to take a direct approach and after drugging Francine to learn the address of a scientist he plans to kidnap and sell to the highest bidder, he also kidnaps Francine. At the airpost the prisoners are bound gagged and locked inside animal transport crates, before being loaded onto a cargo plane. But Scarecrow is on the case and dashes to the rescue. However Francine has matters in hand, and after cutting herself loose from the zip-cuffs, she uses a small explosive hidden in her high heel to blow the lock and uses the pilot's own gun against him to force him to stop take-off.
