Continuing our vampire theme, Alyson Hannigan plays Willow in this first season episode, in which a group of high school kids (including Zander) are possessed by the spirits from a pack of hyenas and begin causing mayhem. Toward the end of the episode Buffy leads the possessed kids on a wild chase back to the zoo's hyena enclosure where a zookeeper waits to reverse the ritual and un-possess them. Unfortunately, the man is also responsible for the kids being possessed to begin with, an accident from the ritual in which he intended to bond with the spirits himself. Sweet naive Willow lets the man tie her hands in front and hold a knife to her throat, thinking it's all a ruse to help along with the ritual. But the truth is soon made evident and The Slayer has to give the man a beatdown when the hyena spirits are transferred to him.
