Renee O'Connor plays Kelly and Neda Sokolovoska plays Aida in this Grade-F science fiction movie from the SciFi Channel. Four NASA astronauts return from a deep space probe to discover the earth transformed to a primitive wasteland dotted with tribes under the rule of alien insectoids. The four are quickly captured and gagged by slavers working for the aliens and led away in chains to a saw mill work camp (Aida doesn't make it since she's too slow due to her broken leg and disposed of.) At the camp, Kelly and the others are set to work loading lumber into carts still gagged, and under guard, but not otherwise restrained. Later, Kelly is locked into upright stocks and about to be whipped for laziness which inspires our lantern-jawed hero to spring into action to save her. Their escape is complicated when Kelly and our hero are separated and she is brought down and re-captured by the slavers. They haul her back to camp on a carry pole, cut her loose and dump her into an underground cell under guard.
Things We Learned From Watching this Movie
1. Human heads are nutritious and contain essential fiber.2. In the future, all beards and mustaches will be glued on.
3. Alien battle tanks are part missile launcher, part clown car.
4. Only pretty women in a tribe ever bathe or style their hair.
5. Getting blasted with a rifle grenade is a minor inconvenience.
6. Mars Needs LUMBER !!
