In this Indiana Jones inspired program, Nazis, Japanese soldiers and American soldiers of fortune are led to a string of dangerous tropical islands in search of the Gold Monkey; a huge priceless gold statue protected by killer apes. Caitlin O'Heaney plays American spy Sarah Smith who toward the end of the film is hand-gagged and captured by a Nazi officer and left tied to a clump of trees to be ripped apart by the guardian ape. Soon the beast emerges from his waterfall cave, spies the girl and snarls menacingly. Sarah screams for help as the ape approaches her and the one-eyed dog Jack charges in to chase the ape away before our hero Jake shows up to untie her.
