Silvia Abascal plays Laura Nieto, who has grown despondent and troubled with her life, her boyfriend's new job at a law office, and her inability to get pregnant. Expecting him home at any moment, she has a phone conversation, but a key in the door causes her to hang up. It's not her boyfriend it's a masked intruder. After recovering from a hit by the door, Laura hits him with a potted plant and goes to the kitchen for a knife. Believing he's out for the count, she walks past him, but he springs up and trips her. A fierce struggle ensues and he chokes her till she passes out before cleaning up the crime scene, packing some of her clothes and dragging her off. Laura wakes up bound and tape gagged and the horror of her situation is overwhelming, as she sees her kidnapper looking in on her.
