Paulyn Sun plays Shelly who is kidnapped in this bizarre Chinese adventure comedy. The kidnapper calls her nebbish boyfriend and demands he go out a kidnap three people he specifies or Shelly will be killed. During the first call, Shelly is seen out in the alley behind her boyfriend's house hands tied together with a long manila rope and she's gagged with semi-transparent medical tape. Later, when he delivers the first victim, Shelly is seen tape-gagged inside the kidnapper's van. Afterward, when the boyfriend's attempt to induce a mobster to follow him into an alley results in a severe beating by his thugs, he hallucinates Shelly in the alley with him gagged, but rooting him on to get to his feet try again and above all-- save her !! Our couple is reunited in the end.
