TWO men were charged last night with conspiracy to attack and rob soul singer Joss Stone.
It came after a duo were nicked near her home in a car allegedly stuffed with swords, rope, a body bag and forensic-style overalls. Cops fear the star may have been targeted for the alleged plot because of her £9million fortune.A police spokesman named the suspects as Junior Bradshaw, 30, and Kevin Liverpool, 33, both from Manchester.
He said: "Both have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm."
The Grammy award-winner, 24, yesterday reassured fans she was OK.
She said in a statement: "I'd like to thank everyone for their concern but I'm absolutely fine and getting on with life as normal while the police continue with their enquiries." An aide added: "It's come as a bit of a shock to her but she's determined it won't affect her plans. She's being kept informed by the police."
Joss, who is close friends with Prince William and was at his wedding to Kate Middleton, was keeping a low profile yesterday. But a young woman in stripy trousers was seen being smuggled out of the house and driven off by two friends in the morning.
The Sun told yesterday how Joss had been at the house with a handful of pals when two suspects were arrested on Monday.Police swooped after a neighbour alerted them to two men acting suspiciously in a car nearby. Neighbor Simon Alsop, 57, said yesterday: "It is quite scary really. I know the whole family well."
Shocked Anna Coleman, who lives opposite the house, said: "It's scary that it has happened right on our doorstep." Joss, whose hits include Fell in Love with a Boy, has an upcoming tour and a new album out in August.She first found fame when she won BBC talent show Junior Star For A Night in 2001 at just 13.She has previously suffered heartbreak over half-brother Daniel Skillin's troubles with drug addiction and crime.
