At the beginning of the episode Kath Maxwell (played by Kate Hood) is forced to exchange clothing and abducted right out of prisoner by two mysterious visitors. After being escorted by the gate at knife-point (unbeknownst to the guard) she's seen gagged and tied in a speeding van. Her gag is removed but her earnest questions yield only cryptic answers. She's later blindfolded and hauled off to a cottage in the woods and left there still tied. Later in the episode, Spider and Vicki (played by Taya Straton and Rebecca Dines, respectively) are snatched by a hulking prisoner, cleave gagged and tied to bars of a cell with strips of bedsheet, threatened, splattered with kitchen garbage and interrogated about a hidden key.
