Once again our gal Ruth Hope (Arline Pretty) is in trouble, having just escaped a ruffian in search of the Armory Code which leads to a fortune, she's accosted by two more, hand-gagged and carried off. But our hero Tom sees the abduction and dashes to help, only to get in a scrap with the same thug Ruth has just fled from. After securing the code from Ruth, they gag her and tie her to a chair and rig a rope around her neck attached to the door handle so if some dashing hero tries to rescue her, the rope will tighten and strangle her !!
