In this story, some armed thugs break into the UN building to kidnap a diplomat and Wonder Woman intervenes, but with lives at gunpoint she surrenders and allows herself to be tied up with her golden lasso 'for laughs'. but the amazon is the only one laughing when she slips loose and becomes a whirlwind of destruction. quickly tracing the hoodlums to a lone ship, WW decides to use the anchor chain to get aboard, but the chain is rigged and she's shocked unconscious and is in the clutches of Dr. Domino (so called because of domino shaped mask) WW is tied to a waiting missile, but when the kidnapped diplomat won't give the baddies the secrets of deadly virus, the amazon is launched at New York !!
