In this extended clip, Mary Tamm plays Doctor's companion Romana, who is assisting in the search for parts of the Key to Time, which leads them to the swampy planet Delta Magna. Romana is quickly captured by the native locals and their gunrunner accomplice, who tie her up and load her in waiting canoe. Back at their camp, she's tied up on a rock and questioned and then later offered up as a sacrifice to their patron deity Kroll. However the good Doctor isn't far behind, and finds Romana in danger and after revealing Kroll to be a man in a costume, he sets her free. Later, she, the Doctor and the gunrunner are captured and summarily sentenced to death by being tied down with vines that contract under heat, to slowly pull them apart.
