In this episode, Mendoza gets a knock on the head during a scrap with some bandits and wakes up later believing himself to be a bandit Malo Martinez and his first stop on his crime spree is to rob the cantina owned by Victoria Escalante (played by Patrice Camhi). After threatening her with a knife, he orders her to sit and later ties her hands behind her back with a bit of rope he's brought along. Our hero and a companion break in and find her still bound and cleave-gagged with a red-checkered cloth.
