In this bit from a Jon Pertwee era episode, Katy Manning plays intrepid reporter Jo Grant who together with the Doctor are captured by some guerrillas sent from the future to assassinate a government official. With some UNIT soldiers approaching the house, the prisoners are hustled into the cellar, and Jo is kept hand-gagged to keep her from crying out as the men look for them. After the UNIT men leave, Jo and The Doctor are cleave gagged and tied up. They manage to get their gags off in short order and talk matters over before being hustled upstairs once more so The Doctor can placate the Brigadier over the phone. Jo finally manages to get her hands free and threatens to smash a small time device the guerrillas have been using, with unintended consequences.
