In this clip from Tom Baker's first episode as The Doctor, Sarah Jane Smith (played by the late Elisabeth Sladen) is kidnapped and used as a human shield by the leaders of a group of Nazi-like scientists, with plans on world domination. After their escape, Sarah is seen at their underground bunker with her hands tied behind her before being shut up in a storage room with Harry Sullivan. The robot is armed with the new disintegrator gun and sent out to fend off the soldiers of UNIT who have surrounded the place, giving the prisoners time to try and untie themselves. after a narrow escape from being shot, they succeed and save the life of the less than stable professor who naively beleived the group was out to build a better world.
