In this story, Nyoka's plane is hijacked by baddies and forced to crash in the frozen north. Nyoka stumbles from the smoldering wreckage in search of aid only to tumble into a chsm where several animals stand frozen in ice. Nyoka is recovered and taken back to the plane, but the baddies get the better of her friends and a weakened heroine is taken back out into the snow, gagged and bound to a tree stump and then they crack the animals out of theit icy shrouds and they immediately attack the only fresh meat in sight-- Nyoka !!
