Told in a series of flashbacks, in this episode Snarf must go to the rescue of the Thundercats after they are captured one by one by his gang of mutants, mummified and imprisoned in Mum-ra's tomb. In the first bit, Cheetara rushes to answer a summons by lion-o, but it's a trap and she's caught in a net. Using his ability to talk to animals Snarf has large spider wrap up Mum-ra's sarcophagus in webbing to buy time so he can fetch the Sword of Omens which will give the heroes the energy to escape this trap.
