Bingbing Li plays Ada Wong in this latest installment of the action film franchise. Captured by the active remnants of the Umbrella Corporation, she's held at gunpoint with her hands bound in front with high-tech handcuffs to use as rescue bait to get a resistance fighter to surrender in exchange for her life. He gives up and gets shot, but manages to make a return coup-de-grace before expiring. Later, before the final fight scene Ada gets pistol-whipped over the head and knocked out and afterward she's recovered by Leon.
*Warning ! Violent !!*
* Don't beat yourself up if you skip this movie; it's just more of the same amped up even further. The plot is shoestring at best. Dialogue and interaction between characters in the film are only gaps between fight scenes and there are TONS of them. New characters are tossed in and just as readily shot up or become monster chow. It was a fun, but barely coherent mess, however.*
