In this "mousy" take on Sherlock Holmes, our hero Basil investigates the kidnapping of a toymaker and uncovers a fiendish plot by his archenemy Professor Ratigan (voiced with relish by the late, great Vincent Price) to replace the Mouse Queen with a toy replica and place himself as her chief council. In this bit, the Queen's guards are replaced with Ratigan's thugs and the toy Queen is revealed. The real queen is captured bound and gagged and carried off to be cat food, but our tiny heroes and their faithful hound Toby are on the case...
