In this episode, an unscrupulous professor discovers a fragment of meteorite that can cripple Superman and tries to sell it to the highest bidder among some criminals. A case of mistaken identity puts another man in harm's way and later Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane (Noel Neill) are caught snooping around the house and get gagged and tied to chairs. Deciding to cut his losses, the lead baddies starts up a device which will set off a napalm charge and burn the house down with every one inside. Superman breaks a window with a weed burner and has Jimmy kick the Kryptonite into a fireplace so he can hopefully destroy it with fire.
