Superman retreats far from humanity after he absorbs a high dose of radiation from stopping a runaway nuclear reactor, as his presence is lethal to humans and so criminals take advantage of his absence. In this brief bit, Lois Lane ( Noel Neill) is tricked into getting into a car with some crooks and then overpowered and gagged when she realizes what's happening and screams. Onboard an airplane her gag is removed.
