Olga Diegues plays Annika, Olivia Wilde plays Bea, and Melissa George plays Pru in this violent horror tale about a group of college backpackers who find their dream vacation to Brazil has become a nightmare after they are drugged and kidnapped by a group of black market organ traffickers. In this first scene, Annika and her boyfriend are seen gagged, bound and strung up by the hands and feet to carrying poles being hauled off by some thugs. The captives are dropped off in the sand so the guards can rest and smoke some weed, and so the boyfriend (unwisely) uses the distraction to untie his hands and free Annika. She takes off running through the jungle. Neither survives.
Later in the film, the other captives are gagged and bound with zip-ties and locked in cages in the rain. Bea shows off some dexterity and manages to get her hands in front of her so she can grab a small pocket knife held by her boyfriend. In the final scene, Pru and another captive get the better of a menacing guard who has come to collect Pru for the next organ harvesting, repeatedly kicking, punching and stabbing the man before a friendly local comes to their aid and finishes him off with a machete. With the help of the dead man's keys, the prisoners escape the compound.
