Greta Gynt plays Mademoiselle Julie who finds herself in the clutches of the Hooded Terror and his gang toward the end of the classic detective adventure. Julie initially gets the drop on the fiends, but finds there are no bullets in her gun and is quickly overpowered. Summarily sentenced to death for her treachery, Julie is taken to the "death chamber", over-gagged and tied to a chair with copious amounts of rope to await her doom. but our hero's trusty assistant Tinker has been trailing her, and after getting a thrashing from the baddies, he helps Julie get untied.
